Die kürzlichen Bohrungen haben das Verständnis über die Art der Mineralisierung auf der NWRZ-Zone, auf der in der Vergangenheit nur begrenzt gebohrt wurde, deutlich verbessert. Einige Abschnitte sind dem Erzkörper von 5 Mio. Unzen der Zone 7 der Porgera-Mine sehr ähnlich.

Außerdem führen Re-Interpretationen der geophysikalischen Daten auf Mt. Kare zur Annahme, dass die Erweiterung der NWRZ-Zone direkt nach Norden in Richtung einer bekannten magnetischen Anomalie und auch Richtung Nordosten und entlang der \'Porgera Tranfer Structure\' Richtung Red Hill verläuft. Red Hill zeigt zutage getretenes Intrusivgestein mit assoziierten Brecciastrukuren, Veränderungen und handwerklichen Arbeiten. Daher testet Buffalo nun beide Zielflächen als Teil des laufenden Bohrprogramms, um die nördliche Erweiterung der WRZ-Zone zu beurteilen. Eine dritte Bohrausrüstung wird so bald wie möglich vor Ort gebracht, um das Explorationsprogramm zu beschleunigen.

Des Weiteren gibt es zusätzliche Zielflächen in der unmittelbaren Umgebung der WRZ-Zone, welche das Unternehmen zu bohren plant. Diese sind:

- Black Zone - Es wird ein ähnliches Programm wie auf der WRZ geben.

- Realgar Zone - die nördliche Erweiterung der Black Zone.

- C9 Zone - möglicherweise der Zuflussgraben für andere bekannte mineralisierte Zonen.

Wahre Weiten der Bohrabschnitte wurden noch nicht geschätzt. Alle Proben wurden von \'PT Intertek Utama Services\' in Jakarta auf Gold analysiert. Das Unternehmen ist Teil einer international anerkannten Labortest-Gruppe mit ISO-17025-Zertifizierung. Die Proben wurden mit Hilfe von 50g-Feueranalysen untersucht.

Explorationsprogramm testet weitere höchst aussichtsreiche Zielflächen

Die Mineralisierung auf Porgera und Mt. Kare wird mit einer Reihe magnetischer Anomalien assoziiert, die mit Intrusionen verbunden sind, welche von großen Strukturen beherrscht werden. Einige dieser Merkmale können in den aeromagnetischen Daten erkannt werden und wurden als Explorationszielflächen identifiziert. Sie beinhalten:

- Lubu Creek - etwa 7 Kilometer von Mt. Kare entfernt. Die magnetischen Anomalien dort stimmen mit alluvialem Gold überein. Vorangehende Proben ergaben mineralisierte, im Wasser treibende Stichproben mit Werten von bis zu 500g/t Gold.

- Pinuni Creek - eine große nordöstliche Struktur, die von Kolluvium bedeckt ist, welche Gold enthält. Es gibt mehrere magnetische Anomalien, die mit dieser Struktur assoziert sind.

- Orosa Creek - eine große magnetische Anomalie mit alluvialen Goldarbeiten.

- Lower Maratane Zone - ist wahrscheinlich die südliche Erweiterung der SWRZ-Zone. Gesteinssplitterproben von 8,9 g/t Gold.

Buffalo plant ein Explorationsprogramm in diesen Gebieten, das folgendes beinhaltet: - Weitere Verfeinerungen der Daten - Detaillierte Bachsedimentproben - Bodenproben - Detaillierte Geophysik - Grabenziehungen - Diamantbohrer-Löcher.

Neues Lizenzansuchen - EL 1427: 100% im Besitz von Buffalo Gold PNG.

Aufgrund der ermutigenden Ergebnisse vom diesjährigen Bohrprogramm auf dem Mt.-Kare-Projekt erweitert Buffalo seinen Grundbesitz in der Region. Das Unternehmen hat für ein neues Lizenzgebiet, \'EL 1427\', angesucht, das in 100%-igem Besitz von Buffalo PNG sein wird. Die Lizenz ist bis zum Süden der gegenwärtigen Lizenz fortlaufend und wird das Gebiet, das exploriert werden muss, auf etwa 1200 km2 verdoppeln. Die Gegend wurde anhand der Identifikation einer Anhäufung magnetischer Anomalien, die innerhalb der Grenzen der \'Porgera Transfer Structure\' in einer ähnlichen Weise wie auf Mt. Kare und Porgera vorkommen, ausgewählt.

Ein Arbeitsprogramm, das den Zielflächen der bereits bestehenden Konzession ähnlich ist, ist bereits geplant.

The results of the massive sulphide mineralization from the Yvonne vein, announced on July 11, 2006, together with those from the Marta Centro segment, which lies on the northwestern extension of the Yvonne vein, appear to provide a potential zone of approximately 1.2 miles (2.0 kilometers) of polymetallic massive sulphide exploration potential.

The two holes into Marta Centro were drilled at a -55 degrees northeast dip into the 50 degrees southwest dipping vein and, as such, drilled intervals are estimated to be close to true widths. Holes are spaced approximately 110 meters (360 feet) apart and intersected the mineralized zone below the level of oxidation that persists to a depth of 45 meters (148 feet). The Marta Centro segment is mapped on surface over a total length of 700 meters (2,296 feet) and has a strike of 335 degrees. This second group of results represents the eighth and ninth holes of the 25 holes drilled during the company's recently completed 1,876.5-meter (6,157-foot) program on the Pinguino property, Patagonia, Argentina. The company is awaiting the remaining results from holes 10 through 25.

QUALITY ASSURANCE

Exploration on the Pinguino project is being conducted under the supervision of Mr. Kenneth Hicks, P.Geo., Argentex's President and a "qualified person" as defined by National Instrument 43-101. Mr. Hicks is responsible for the preparation of technical information in this news release. Drilling was conducted by Connors Drilling, an independent Canadian contractor with an office in Mendoza, Argentina. Drill core for analysis was first sawed in half; one half was retained in the core box for future reference and the other half was submitted for analysis. All samples were collected in accordance with industry standards and were submitted to Alex Stewart Assayers, Argentina, S.A., in Mendoza, Argentina, for fire assay and ICP analysis. Selected samples of massive sulphides were submitted for a separate analysis for indium. Overlimit base metal ICP values were reanalyzed with ore grade detection limit procedures. Silver > 200 ppm in ICP were reanalyzed using gravimetric methods. Check assays are submitted to Acme Analytical Labs, an ISO-9001:2000 certified lab, in Santiago, Chile. Accuracy of results is tested through the systematic inclusion of standards, blanks and check assays.
