Lindab acquires French ventilation distributor

Dienstag, 01.11.2011 08:33 von

Lindab has entered an agreement to acquire Elia Sarl, a one-stop ventilation
distributor with a strong local market presence in the south of France.

The company has a modern branch located in Montpellier, a fast-growing area for
ventilation in France, generating annual sales of around SEK 20 m.

President and CEO David Brodetsky comments:
"This small acquisition is a perfect strategic fit. It is a successful business
that will be able to grow even quicker as part of Lindab. By integrating the
business into our branch network we will benefit from several synergies. The
branch in Montpellier complements our geographical footprint in France, already
strengthened with new outlets in Bordeaux and Lille earlier this year. In total
we have now 15 points of sale in France."
