Die Hanergy Thin Film Power Group Ltd., Hersteller von schlüsselfertigen Produktionslinien für Photovoltaik-Module und PV-Projektentwickler, gab am 30.03.2015 ihre Ergebnisse und die ihrer Tochterunternehmen für das Finanzjahr 2014 bekannt.

Der Gesamtumsatz der Hanergy-Gruppe stieg um 193 Prozent auf rund 1.239.880 US-Dollar (2013: USD 423.453). Der Rohertrag wuchs von rund 339.920 USD im Jahr 2013 um 109 Prozent auf 709.838 USD.

Mit dem Verkauf von Photovoltaik-Kraftwerken setzte das Unternehmen etwa 435.634 USD um. Das entspricht rund einem Drittel des Gesamtumsatzes.

Mit der weithin anerkannten Dünnschicht-Technologie und der stetigen Entwicklung aller Geschäftsbereiche will die Gruppe ihre Erwerbsquellen in Zukunft weiter diversifizieren.

Was die Sparte Maschinenbau angeht, will die Gruppe weiterhin schlüsselfertige PV-Produktionslinien verkaufen, bei denen Dünnschicht-Technologien zum Einsatz kommen, die Hanergy im letzten Jahr erworben hat.

In Sachen dezentrale Solarstrom-Produktion will die Gruppe rascher den chinesischen Markt durchdringen und speziell zugeschnittene gebäudeintegrierte Dünnschicht-Lösungen anbieten. Hier erhofft sich das Unternehmen wesentliche Umsätze.

Was den Kraftwerksbau betreffe, habe die Gruppe die Vorbereitungen zum Bau eines Photovoltaik-Kraftwerks mit 400 MW in Ghana (Afrika) getroffen und eines mit 50 MW in Hainan entwickelt. In den nächsten Jahren sollen etliche PV-Kraftwerke fertig und in Betrieb genommen werden.

Hanergy verkauft Dünnschichtmodul-Produktionslinien für 1,8 Gigawatt in China

Die chinesische Hanergy Thin Film Power Group Ltd. verkauft über ihre Tochter Fujian Apollo an die chinesische Beijing Manshi Investment Company Ltd. Produktionslinien zur Herstellung von gebäudeintegrierten Dünnschichtmodulen mit einer Kapazität von 600 Megawatt. Die Investition wird auf 660 Millionen Dollar (612 Millionen Euro) beziffert. In einem zweiten Schritt werde Fujian Apollo weitere ebensolche Produktionslinien mit einer Kapazität von zusammen 1,2 Gigawatt an die Baota Investment Holding Company Ltd. verkaufen, eine Tochter der Baota Petrochemical Group. Hanergy Thin Film Power Group, the solar energy company whose shares have soared more than sixfold in the past year, said its panels will be used to provide energy to catering, touring and recreational vehicles.

The Chinese maker of solar equipment has started cooperating with “mobile kitchen” maker Shandong Taian Changan Catering Equipment Co., it said in a statement on Monday. Hanergy will also join Suzhou Yigao Electronic Vehicle Manufacturing Co. to develop sightseeing vehicles with solar panels affixed to their roofs, it said.

Panels on the catering vehicles will generate 6 kilowatt-hours of electricity a day in normal sunlight for electronics such as lighting, refrigeration and cooking, according to the statement.

Yigao’s touring vehicle will use six 75-watt panels from MiaSole to generate 2 kilowatt-hours a day of electricity in normal light, Yang Jinsong, executive president of Hanergy Product Development Group, said at an event in Beijing unveiling the partnerships.

MiaSole is the California-based thin-film photovoltaic solar panel maker bought by Hanergy Holding in January 2013.

The announcements are part of efforts by Hanergy to push the boundaries of what can be powered by solar. In February, Hanergy said it expects the market for thin-film cells designed for electric vehicles to total 46 gigawatts by 2020 and another 37 gigawatts for electronic products such as smartphones.
Energy Use

“Thin-film power generation is the ultimate way that people will use energy,” Li Hejun, chairman of Beijing-based Hanergy Holding Group, told reporters at Monday’s media conference.

The Hong Kong-listed unit of Hanergy Holding said earlier this year that it intended to partner with vehicle designers to develop cars to be powered by the sun and that it aimed to roll out three to five models by October. The company on Monday said six designers will be involved in that project, instead of the originally announced five, though no further details were provided.

Oil consumption from transportation accounts for more than 30 percent of total use and “car exhaust has become the main source of air pollution in medium and big cities,” Li said, adding that solar power produced from thin-film cells can “reduce or completely replace the fossil fuel.”
Conversion Efficiency

Hanergy Holding in August completed the purchase of Alta Devices of the U.S. with plans to accelerate commercialization of the company’s thin-film solar technology. A thin-film solar cell is made by placing layers of photovoltaic material on a substrate such as glass, plastic or metal.

“There’s huge room” to increase efficiency when converting sunlight to electricity and to lower production costs, Li said.

Hanergy’s research and development center in California’s Silicon Valley has witnessed a conversion efficiency -- the ratio of energy produced by the cell compared with the energy received from the sun -- of as high as 30.8 percent from its thin-film solar technology, he said.

Hanergy Thin Film Power Group is set to build a 10 MW gallium arsenide (GaAs) thin film solar cell research and development and manufacturing factory in Wuhan, China.

The company will construct the new fab at the Huangpi Linkong Industrial Park as part of an investment agreement with the Huangpi district government in Wuhan City.

The move follows Hanergy’s acquisition of California-based GaAs specialist Alta Devices in January and marks the group’s first GaAs thin film solar call R&D fab in China.

The manufacturing facility also comes as Hanergy explores new application areas for its flexible thin film GaAs products and further seeks to expand the utilization of mobile solar energy.

The project is receiving strong support from the Huangpi district government in Wuhan, which will oversee the construction of the production site, warehouse, factory facilities and power systems and then lease the site to Hanergy.

Hanergy can in turn earn recognition as a high-tech enterprise, making it eligible for support from the country’s Innovation and Technology Fund and High-end Industrial Support Fund.

The company said its project company would receive further assistance from the Huangpi district government in accessing special support funds from national, provincial and municipal governments as well as in applying for tax incentives, obtaining financing from local financial institutions. The government has also agreed to reduce or waive Wuhan City administrative fees for the project.

The construction of the fab will take place in two phases. The first phase will see construction of a 3 MW capacity production facility over a 10-month period, with production set to follow a testing period within 18 months. The second phase is expected to span a three-year period.

Hanergy is eager to exploit the GaAs technology obtained from Alta Devices. The technology has broken the world efficiency records four times in a row with its single junction thin film solar cells, which boast a single junction efficiency reaching 28.8% and a double junction efficiency reaching 30.8% (both certified by the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory).

ein Grund ? positive news? bin am überlegen nachzukaufen ...

einzige was mich irrtiert wie kann eigt ein so junges unternehmen ein Marktkapital von mehr als 32 Mrd EUR haben zum Beispiel BMW ca. 40 Mrd oder BASF ca. 84 Mrd EUR? wird hier der Kurs nicht bewusst alle paar Monate nach oben gedrückt? in der hoffnung dass immermehr Leute investieren. Wann kommt die Korrekur?

Vielleicht kauf ich heut abend und verkauf schon wieder morgen früh hmhmhm

... ist die Nr.1 im Dünnschicht-Photovoltaik Geschäft, ein neuer Auftrag beschert natürlich einen Kursanstieg. Ich sehe generell für die Solarbranche ein gutes Jahr, und für Hanergy somit auch. Ich warte immer noch auf einen Big Deal á la Apple & Co., dann gibt es hier meiner Meinung nach ganz schnell einen Kursvervielfacher!
