Sydney - Thursday - February 17: - Terrex Resources Ltd will raise $l.8 million through the placement of 15 million shares at 12c each with 15 million free attaching options to clients of European fund managers.
The options will be exercisable at 20c by December 31 2002.
Shares in Terrex today rose 3c to 19c.
The company has appointed Mr Hans Reudi Moser as a director.
Mr Moser is a resident of Switzerland with more than 20 years experience in the Swiss banking and finance industry.
He is a principal of a large European portfolio manager and is a director of Accessl Ltd, AdultShop.com Ltd, Grange Resources Ltd, Pulsat Communications Ltd, Shield Equities Ltd, Spinifex Gold NL and Union
Capital Ltd.
“Mr Moser has historically been an active Investor in Australian gold exploration companies, and in more recent times an active investor in technology—based companies,“ Terrex said.
Funds raised by the issue will go towards development of the
company‘s medical cornmunications business, Global Doctor Ltd.
Global Doctor will expend further funds on commissioning the
start of operations at its Chengdu clinic, scheduled for March.
lt will research and develop further clinics in Asia while
continuing to refine its medical systems and procedures.
The issue will also fund exploration of Terrex‘ s existing
mineral propertles, focussed in Myanmar, along with “new opportunities in both the resources and technology sectors“.
