LAS VEGAS, Aug 30, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Disability Access Consultants Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of PTS Inc. (OTCBB: PTSH), has executed a Letter of Intent agreement with a major international Quick Service Restaurant chain (QSR) to conduct Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance inspections for a significant number of stores. Although confidentiality provisions prohibit the dissemination of the name of the QSR, the Letter of Intent does initiate commitments for inspections for up to several thousands of the QSR\'s locations.
"Based on terms of the LOI, inspections of the quick service restaurant retail stores have started nationwide," stated Barbara Thorpe, president of DAC Inc.
"With this work, and other contracts in various stages of execution, the revenue growth is expected to be significantly greater than last year for the same quarter, and with extremely positive expectations for the balance of the year," commented Peter Chin, CEO of DAC Inc.\'s parent company, PTS Inc. He continued, "The revenue generation over the life of this initial agreement is expected to be approximately $5.2 million, and will continue to strengthen DAC Inc.\'s position as a leader in ADA compliance inspections."
"Consent decrees and other litigation against businesses and public entities to provide equal access for individuals with disabilities have stimulated an increase in the current market demand for ADA compliance inspections, which is a core competency and major business of DAC Inc.," commented Thorpe.
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires businesses to provide equal access to goods and services for individuals with disabilities. Public entities are held to a higher standard of access to programs, services and activities, and are mandated to have developed a transition plan and self-evaluation that determines if any facilities, programs or services are discriminatory in regards to individuals with disabilities.
