AMD - langfristig ein Kauf ?? o. T.

Schöner grüner Tag today. So kann es gerne weitergehen! Schritt für Schritt, jeden Tag ein Stückchen höher. Darf dann auch gerne mal einen kleinen Rücksetzer zum ausruhen geben. Aber tedentiell nach oben!

Hoffen wir, dass die Meldung das Interesse an AMD wieder geweckt hat. Gestern über 26 Mio. Gehandelte Aktien und heute gibt es sogar mal nen pre-market^^

 

Wenn das Interesse steigt, steigt der Kurs. Die aktuelle MK ist ein Witz.

wäre schon sehr positiv wenn Investoren endlich mal auf die Seite von AMD wechseln
und nicht immer zur Nr.1 die für meine Begriffe immer mit unlauteren Mitteln arbeiten u. greifen....
Ich hoffe für AMD das durch den Kurswechsel n.o.auch die Mitarb.gepusht werden und an
Ihre Fähigkeiten glauben....warten wir mal in der Zukunft ab....

Why AMD is a buy

   Shift away from PC markets - AMD plans to increase the share of its total revenue from new product segments such as tablet SOCs, custom designed APUs and SeaMicro dense cloud server business. I like this change of focus as AMD will start entering markets which have lower competition than its traditional markets.
   Game console wins - AMD has managed to win the processor supply contracts for two major game console makers Sony (SNE) and Nintendo. AMD has invested heavily in providing semi-customized chips to this segment and that has resulted in these big wins for AMD. AMD has partnered with Nintendo since 2001; and the relationship continues to remain strong with custom-for-Nintendo AMD graphics processor, being made available for Nintendo's newly launched Wii U home console. Sony announced AMD would be powering the PS4 with an 8-core "Jaguar" CPU and Radeon GPU......

New Products (Richland, Temash, Kabini and Kaveri) - AMD is soon going to launch new generation processors for major segments of the computing market. AMD does not have a material presence in the fast growing ultrabooks and tablet markets. However, the company's new Temash dual and quad core processors for the tablet market have received some good reviews. Temash is AMD's elite low-power mobility processor for Windows 8 tablets and hybrids......
Dense Servers - AMD purchased cloud micro server maker "SeaMicro" in 2012 for $334 million to enter this new fast growing server market. Dense servers connect a number of low power CPUs which reduces power and cost, without impacting the processing power......

warum dieser Vergleich Schwachsinn ist:

Hoffentlich knacken wir heute nachhaltig die 2,65$. Dann kann es morgen weiter up gehen.

,,,,, the word is out that EA's (EA) hotly anticipated "Battlefield 4" will be included in the next bundle that AMD puts together, and I believe that such a hard-core and graphically taxing game being associated with AMD could help to not only build up AMD's brand image in this space, but also could help to accelerate any further market share gains in the high end......

Die AMD Aktie startete gestern am Unterstützungsbereich bei 2,23 - 2,26 $ eine starke Rallybewegung, welche heute deutlich korrigiert wird. Nach dem Rücksetzer könnte die Aktie weiter nach oben blicken und die Abwärtstrendlinie bei ca. 2,65 $ attackieren.

Geht es auch nachhaltig über 2,65 $, werden weiter steigende Kurse bis 2,93 und später ca.  3,90 - 4,00 $ möglich. Unterhalb von 2,37 hingegen kann ein weiterer Test von 2,21 - 2,26 $ folgen. Kritisch wäre aber erst ein nachhaltiges Abtauchen unter 2,20 $ zu werten, dann drohen Verluste bis 1,81 $.

Ja es zeigt sich auch heute, dass AMD noch einige Impulse braucht, um die 2,65$ zu knacken (zumal bei dem heutigen Indexanstieg in den USA)... Ich bin mir aber ganz sicher, dass wir uns in 12 Monaten über ganz andere Kurse unterhalten! Und ich meine das positiv....

war die letzten beiden  Tage im Minus geendet in USA während andere wie VRTX ,ARUN ,PMCS,JNPR sogar AAPL auf meiner Watchlist gute Gewinne hatten

Die Auslieferungen von Notebooks und Desktops seien im ersten Quartal um beinahe 14 Prozent auf 76,3 Millionen Geräte gefallen, ermittelten die Analysten der Firma IDC. Einen schlimmeren Absturz habe es seit Beginn der Datenerhebungen im Jahr 1994 nicht gegeben, erklärten die Marktforscher am Mittwoch.

Der IDC-Konkurrent Gartner veröffentlichte kurz darauf ebenfalls seine Marktzahlen, die einen etwas moderateren Absatzrückgang von 11,2 Prozent auf 79,2 Millionen Personal Computer auswiesen. Zugleich gab Gartner-Analyst Mikako Kitagawa eine düstere Prognose für die PC-Branche ab. Verbraucher verlagerten ihre Computer-Nutzung auf andere Geräte wie Smartphones und Tablets. Nicht einmal in den Entwicklungsländern sei noch ein starkes Wachstum beim Absatz klassischer Notebooks und Desktops zu erwarten.

Ich glaube, dass nun wirklich keiner von dem Ergebnis überrascht ist. Es war doch nun wirklich schon lange bekannt, dass mit klassischen Geräten kein Absatzwachstum mehr zu erreichen ist - vor allem AMD war es schon lange bewußt...
Auch die Reaktionen halten sich in Grenzen.
Ich bleibe bei meiner positiven Einstellung was AMD angeht.

zusätzlich verstärkt durch die schwache Wirtschaft. Zieht diese wieder an wird sich der Rückgang verlangsamen. AMD verfolgt doch die richtige Strategie, weg von den PCs, hin zu Konsolen, Servern (und wer weiß, vllt bald auch mobilen Geräten??)

Heute wurden übrigens so viel Calls auf AMD gekauft wie seit fast einem Jahr nicht mehr (finanznachrichten.de). Könnten Absicherungen der Puts sein vor den Zahlen, vielleicht hellt sich aber auch die Stimmung der Investoren auf, da nun klar ist, dass das Konsolengeschäft komplett von AMD beherrscht wird.
