Good Afternoon JR ,
Yes, Kingfisher is an excellent choice and I believe it to be India's oldest existing , industrially produced beer , having been founded by the British during the Indian Mutiny in 1857 . ( Though I think it had a different brand name back then ) . However, beers have been traditionally brewed in India at a non-industrial level for centuries . Wheat and millet beers in the South and center ; barley and hop beers in Northern India , Nepal and Tibet .
I have another question regarding ams , if I may :
As you will no doubt be aware , currently there is an acute shortage of semiconductors and chips in the automotive industry. According to the 'Business Matters' radio programme on BBC World Service , this shortage is likely to prevail until Q2 2022 at the earliest . And what is more , these chips are selling for up to 10 times normal prices . I am not the most technically knowledgeable person , but would it be possible for ams-Osram to somehow take advantage of this shortage (assuming that (1) lead times could be met and (2) ams-Osram have the requisite spare capacity in any of their factories ) ?
Namaste
