Ableauctions Continues to Progress to Profitability

Success in January 2002
SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA - February 28, 2002 - Ableauctions.comTM, Inc. (AMEX: AAC) is pleased to announce that its restructuring
program as announced in the winter of 2001 is progressing favourably with strong auction results in January 2002.
Despite a relatively weak economy during the first month of 2002, the Company was able to perform 19 Live Auctions through its "bricks
& mortar" operations and facilitated the broadcast of an additional 17 Live Auctions under its alliance with eBay Live Auctions. For the
month of January 2002, the Company conducted a total of 38 Live and "bricks & mortar" auctions.
Ableauction`s "bricks & mortar" operations alone in January resulted in gross auction revenue for the month in excess of $1,000,000.
The results from the Company`s eBay alliance, which are still to be determined, will add to the revenue stated for the "bricks & mortar"
operations. In the Company`s strive for profitability; the revenue for January is consistent with management`s expectations.
As a result of the demonstrated success despite a slow economic climate, the Company has renewed its expansion plans in the State
of Washington. The Company is actively searching for new auction facilities in the North Seattle area. This expansion will broaden the
Company`s ability to offer auction services above and beyond its current annual gross auction revenue of $8,000,000 in automobile
sales currently sustained in its Tacoma location.
As stated, management is committed to attaining and maintaining profitability in order to enhance shareholder value. The Company is
determined to demonstrate the viability of its economic model through increasing revenue and profitability.
