Good observation, sydenham. Like you said, these past grades are nothing short of spectacular, and SLAM is drilling a small step out from this historic hole. Great first move on their part.
Like I've said in the past, the grades intersected in all zones (4) of Opikeigan are very high grade. It's also worth noting that grades typically increase at depth (Goldcorp's Red Lake Mine, PKL's last Pickle Crow intersection are good examples). In today's nr, the co. stated that they plan on testing the zones along strike and at depth.
Should they intersect some swell in the veins, which typically pinch and swell, then you'd get an increase in thickness of the zone. There also has to be a more major source for these narrower zones, or a larger shear that these narrower ones may have "splayed off". Again, intersect one of these zones, and there will be some excitement.
At any rate, the next coupel of weeks will be quite exciting to say the least.
Have a great weekend, SLAMmers. There's lots to look forward to.
