Subject: Operating results of the year 2009 and Omit Dividend Payment

Solartron Public Company Limited (the Company) would like to
present operating results as shown in the audited financial
statements for the year of 2009 ending on 31 December 2009 as
follows:
1. Balance Sheets
In year 2009, the amount of the Company assets is 888.86 million baht.
Comparing with that of year 2008 in the amount of 974.05 million baht. It is
an decreased of 8.75%.
The Company liability in year 2009 is 87.95 million baht. Comparing with
that of year 2008 in the amount of 96.43 million baht, it is an decreased of
8.79%.
Shareholders equity of the Company in the year 2009 is 800.92 million
baht. Comparing with that of 877.62 million baht in year 2008, it is an
decreased of 8.74%.
2. Profit and Loss Statements
2.1 Revenue
In year 2009, the company revenue is 120.18 million baht. Comparing to
the year 2008 is 422.99 million baht, it is shown the company revenue
decreased equivalent to 71.59% or 302.81 million baht. Because of expand
the economic recession.
2.2 Cost of goods sold
In year 2009, the company cost of goods sold is 115.08 million baht.
Comparing to the year 2008 of 353.78 million baht, it is shown the company
cost of goods sold decreased equivalent to 238.70 million baht or 67.47%.
In the year 2009, cost of goods sold per revenue is 95.76% increased of
12.12%. Comparing to the year 2008 which cost of goods sold per revenue
is 83.64%.
2.3 Gross profit
In year 2009, the company gross profit is 5.10 million baht. Comparing to
the year 2008 of 69.21 million baht, it is shown the company gross profit
decreased equivalent to 64.11 million baht or 92.64%. In the year 2009,
gross profit per revenue is 4.24%. Comparing to the year 2008, gross profit
per revenue is 16.36%
2.4 Other Income
In the year 2009, the company other income is 3.91 million baht.
Comparing to the year 2008 is 7.16 million baht, it is shown that the
company other income decreased equivalent to 3.25 million baht because of
decreasing in interest receivable and gain on to exchange.
2.5 Expenses
Selling and administrative expenses, the company in the year 2009 is
112.25 million baht. Comparing to the year 2008 is 71.27 million baht,
which increasing to 50.98 million baht or 71.53%.
2.6 Net Profit (loss)
The net profit (loss) of the year 2009 the amount is (116.51) million
baht. Comparing to 2008 which is 2.20 million baht, it is a loss increased of
118.71 million baht.
3. The following resolutions of the Board of Directors’ Meeting
No.2/2010 were passed on March 2,2010
Approved the dividend omission for year 2009 (from January 1, 2009
to December 31, 2009) because the company has the net loss of the
operating results.
