NEW YORK, July 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- OTC Markets Group Inc. (OTCQX: OTCM), operator of financial markets for 10,000 U.S. and global securities, today announced the second quarter 2017 performance and quarterly rebalancing of the OTCQX® and OTCQB® indexes, including the OTCQX Canada Index and the OTCQX Dividend Index.
The OTCQX Composite Index (.OTCQX), a benchmark for the overall OTCQX Best Market, was up 4.7% in the first quarter. Thirty-five companies were added to the index, including Alumina Limited Aus (OTCQX: AWCMY), Bionomics Ltd. (OTCQX: BNOEF), Britvic plc (OTCQX: BTVCY), Fortescue Metals Group Ltd (OTCQX: FSUMF), Ocean Yield ASA (OTCQX: OYIEF), Thin Film Electronics ASA (OTCQX: TFECY), PAO TMK (OTCQX: TMKXY) and UBM Plc (OTCQX: UBMPY). Thirty-two companies were removed from the index, including Goodrich Petroleum, which graduated to NYSE MKT on April 11, 2017 and Nexgen Energy which graduated to NYSE MKT on May 17, 2017.
The OTCQX Billion+ Index (.OTCQXBIL), which tracks the performance of $1 billion-plus market cap OTCQX companies, was up 4.6% for the quarter. Seven companies were added to the index and 4 companies were removed.
The OTCQX Dividend Index (.OTCQXDIV), which tracks dividend-paying U.S. and international OTCQX companies, rose 4.7% in the quarter. Fifteen companies were added to the index and 10 companies were removed.
The OTCQX Banks Index (.OTCQXBK), comprised of OTCQX community and regional banks, increased 5.2% in the quarter. Nine companies were added to the index in the quarter and 9 companies were removed. The nine banks added were: Communities First Financial Corporation (OTCQX: CFST), Community Bancorp of Santa Maria (OTCQX: CYSM), First Choice Bank Cerritos (CA) (OTCQX: FCBK),
Greater Hudson Bank (NY) (OTCQX: GHDS), Mountain Commerce Bancorp Inc. (OTCQX: MCBI), OCB Bancorp (CA) (OTCQX: OJCB), Private Bancorp of America, Inc. (OTCQX: PBAM), Calvin B. Taylor Bankshares, Inc. (OTCQX: TYCB) and Woodlands Financial Services Co. (OTCQX: WDFN).
The OTCQX International Index (.OTCQXINT), a benchmark for international OTCQX companies, was up 4.6% for the quarter. Twenty-one companies were added to the index and 12 companies were removed.

The OTCQX Canada Index (.OTCQXCAN), which tracks Canadian OTCQX companies, rose 0.8% in the first quarter. Fourteen companies were added to the index and 11 companies were removed.
The OTCQX U.S. Index (.OTCQXUS), a benchmark for U.S. OTCQX companies, was up 11.9% in the first quarter. Fourteen companies were added to the index and 20 companies were removed.
The OTCQB Venture Index (.OTCQB), which tracks the overall OTCQB Venture Market, was down 2.4% in the first quarter. One hundred fifteen companies were added to the index and 107 companies were removed, including FNB Bancorp, SilverSun Technologies and Catasys which all graduated to Nasdaq during the quarter.
The OTCM QX ADR 30 Index (.OTCQX30), powered by BNY Mellon DR IndicesSM and comprised of the 30 largest, most actively-traded OTCQX American Depositary Receipts, was up 3.2% in the first quarter. No changes were made to the index constituents.
The OTCM ADR Index (.OTCDR), powered by BNY Mellon DR Indices and comprised of ADRs traded on the OTCQX, OTCQB and Pink® markets, rose 5.6% in the quarter. Five companies were added to the indx and 6 companies were removed.

All indexes are market capitalization-weighted and adjusted on a quarterly basis for additions and share changes over 5% during the months of March, June, September and December. In the case of ADRs, the DR ratio is considered. Dividends are re-invested as of the close of business the day before the ex-dividend date.
