We hereby notify you in accordance with sec. 21 para. 1 of the German Securities Trading Act (Wertpapierhandelsgesetz - "WpHG") in the name and on behalf of Suzlon Windenergie GmbH, Wasserstr. 223, 44799 Bochum, Germany, that on 6 June 2008 Suzlon Windenergie GmbH has exceeded the threshold of 75 % of the voting rights in REpower Systems AG, Überseering 10, 22297 Hamburg, Germany ("REpower"), and at that time held 88.76 % of the voting rights in REpower, corresponding to 7,982,461 of a total number of 8,993,576 voting rights. 5,701,691 of these voting rights, corresponding to 63.40 % of the voting rights in REpower, were attributed to Suzlon Windenergie GmbH pursuant to sec. 22 para. 2 WpHG. 3,640,903 voting rights thereof, corresponding to 40.48 % of the voting rights in REpower, were attached to shares held by SE Drive Technik GmbH, Bochum, Germany. 1,541,118 voting rights thereof, corresponding to 17.14 % of the voting rights in REpower, were attached to shares held by Martifer Energy Systems SGPS, S.A., Oliveira de Frades, Portugal. 519,670 voting rights thereof, corresponding to 5.78 % of the voting rights in REpower, were attached to shares held by Martifer SGPS, S.A., Oliveira de Frades, Portugal. 2. We hereby notify you in accordance with sec. 21 para. 1 WpHG in the name and on behalf of SE Drive Technik GmbH, Wasserstr. 223, 44799 Bochum, Germany, that on 6 June 2008 SE Drive Technik GmbH has exceeded the threshold of 75 % of the voting rights in REpower and at that time held 88.76 % of the voting rights in REpower, corresponding to 7,982,461 of a total number of 8,993,576 voting rights. 4,341,558 of these voting rights, corresponding to 48.27 % of the voting rights in REpower, were attributed to SE Drive Technik GmbH pursuant to sec. 22 para. 2 WpHG. 1,541,118 voting rights thereof, corresponding to 17.14 % of the voting rights in REpower, were attached to shares held by Martifer Energy Systems SGPS, S.A. 519,670 voting rights thereof, corresponding to 5.78 % of the voting rights in REpower, were attached to shares held by Martifer SGPS, S.A. 2,280,770 voting rights thereof, corresponding to 25.36 % of the voting rights in REpower, were attached to shares held by Suzlon Windenergie GmbH. The 2,280,770 voting rights attached to shares held by Suzlon Windenergie GmbH, corresponding to 25.36 % of the voting rights in REpower, were attributed to SE Drive Technik GmbH also pursuant to sec. 22 para. 1 sentence 1 no. 1 WpHG. 3. We further notify you in accordance with sec. 21 para. 1 WpHG in the name and on behalf of AE-Rotor Holding BV, Goodstraat 15, 7554NG Hengelo Ov, The Netherlands, that on 6 June 2008 AE-Rotor Holding BV has exceeded the threshold of 75 % of the voting rights in REpower and at that time held 88.76 % of the voting rights in REpower, corresponding to 7,982,461 of a total number of 8,993,576 voting rights. All of these voting rights were attributed to AE Rotor Holding BV pursuant to sec. 22 para. 2 WpHG. 3,640,903 voting rights thereof, corresponding to 40.48 % of the voting rights in REpower, were attached to shares held by SE Drive Technik GmbH. 2,280,770 voting rights thereof, corresponding to 25.36 % of the voting rights in REpower, were attached to shares held by Suzlon Windenergie GmbH. 1,541,118 voting rights thereof, corresponding to 17.14 % of the voting rights in REpower, were attached to shares held by Martifer Energy Systems SGPS, S.A. 519,670 voting rights thereof, corresponding to 5.78 % of the voting rights in REpower, were attached to shares held by Martifer SGPS, S.A. 5,921,673 of these voting rights, corresponding to 65.84 % of the voting rights in REpower, were additionally attributed to AE-Rotor Holding BV pursuant to sec. 22 para. 1 sentence 1 no. 1 WpHG through SE Drive Technik GmbH, which is controlled by AE-Rotor Holding BV. 2,280,770 voting rights thereof, corresponding to 25.36 % of the voting rights in REpower, were attributed to AE-Rotor Holding BV pursuant to sec. 22 para. 1 sentence 1 no. 1 WpHG also through Suzlon Windenergie GmbH, which is a subsidiary of SE Drive Technik GmbH. 4. We further notify you in accordance with sec. 21 para. 1 WpHG in the name and on behalf of Suzlon Wind Energy Limited, c/o Chalfen Services Limited, 93A Rivington Street, London EC2A 3AY, United Kingdom, that on 6 June 2008 Suzlon Wind Energy Limited has exceeded the threshold of 75 % of the voting rights in REpower and at that time held 88.76 % of the voting rights in REpower, corresponding to 7,982,461 of a total number of 8,993,576 voting rights. We further notify you in accordance with sec. 21 para. 1 WpHG in the name and on behalf of Suzlon Energy Limited, c/o Corporate and Secretarial Services Centre Limited, Anglo Mauritius House, Intendance Street, Port Louis, Mauritius, that on 6 June 2008 Suzlon Energy Limited, Mauritius, has exceeded the threshold of 75 % of the voting rights in REpower and at that time held 88.76 % of the voting rights in REpower, corresponding to 7,982,461 of a total number of 8,993,576 voting rights.
